Latican Camp 1 & 2, Finishing Camp

Age groups for both latican and finishing camp

there will only be 4 groups for all ole camps.  Beginning with a U7 – U8 group, U9 – U10 group, U11 – U12 group and a U13 – U14 age group.  Only 12 - 14 players per age group will be accepted for this years summer camps.  sign up in advance to secure a spot.

This 2008, the latican camp will be bigger and better than ever.  By splitting it into latican 1 and latican 2, the ole trainers will cover more of the latican flavor.  Being the third year running, the camp will have a better organization, new ideas, new moves, new games and lots of fun.  DON’T MISS OUT!!!

What is the Latican Camp?

The OLe Latican camp is like no other camp in all of Michigan.  Learn 1v1 moves, nutmegs, 1v1 tricks, improve on your ball control, learn combination passes, learn cool juggling tricks, learn magic passes, play in a competitive 2v2 tournament, learn to play the popular OLe knock out and so much more.  This is a camp designed to master the ball in every way possible.  Learn to play OLe’s Latican way.  “JOGA BONITO”

What is the Finishing Camp?

The finishing camp is designed to help increase the number of goal scoring opportunities, help improve on the players technical aspect, players decision making, and goal awareness.  Work on finishing using the instep, inside of the foot, outside of the foot, heading, break aways, banana shot, from crosses, volleys, 1v1 in front of goal, back to goal, 3v3 tournament, and much more...

Parents please stick around during the first 20 minutes of the first day to experience a juggling show put on by the OLE trainers.

TIMES

All 2008 camps will be run from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. for U9 - U14 players.  10:00 - 12:30 pm for U7 -U8 players.  Players may get dropped off in the morning and picked up by 12:30 or 3pm (there will be adult supervision at all times).  please bring along a sack lunch or snack and plenty of water. 

Dates

Latican camp #1 will be June 30 - July 3 2008.  The finishing camp will be July 14 - 18 2008.  Latican camp #2 will be August 4 – 7 2008.

Cost

OLe players - $70, Non OLe players - $100

Location

all 2008 camps will be held at Jaycee Mackay park in Grand Rapids (28th St. and Kalamazoo, entrance to the park is off of Kalamazoo).
