ABOUT OLE SOCCER CLUB
THE BEGINNING
OLe Soccer was started by Jose Fabian Rodriguez in January 2006 as a training business for players and teams in West Michigan. Offering teams and individual players training, clinics, and summer camps. Then forming teams at the U6 and U7 age levels during the winter led to the idea of turning OLe Soccer into a soccer club.
OLE?
In most parts of the world "ole" is a soccer chant recited in stadiums by soccer fanatics. In Mexico "ole" is used to taunt an opponent or team when being dominated. This name was chosen for the club because of the playing style (latican style) taught at OLe SC. To OLe Soccer Club "OLe" represents an attack that dominates any opposition.
Latican Style
Latican is the style created by OLe SC's Director of Coaching Jose Fabian Rodriguez. It is a combination between the Latino and American styles of soccer. The American method of coaching with the Latino way to handle the ball. "This style will make the ball the most entertaining toy in the world" (Jose Fabian Rodriguez).
OLE MISSION
OLe, is a soccer club created to provide an opportunity for the young people in the West Michigan area who have the passion to better their lives through the sport of soccer. To learn and develop important values needed in order to be successful on and off the field. OLe will provide top level skills training for people from diverse backgrounds. OLe will focus on the players that hold a passion for learning and reaching a higher level.
OLE IS FOR ANYONE
OLe is not a "hispanic club"
